GWR Castle 4-6-0 No 5042 Winchester Castle on the down 'Cheltenham Spa Express' ready to leave Paddington in August 1957.
Peter Kerslake says "Turned out well by Old Oak Common, Gloucester's 5042 Winchester Castle later moved to Old Oak in April of 1960 , then to Newton Abbot and finally back to Gloucester for the later years of its life and when withdrawn from there in June 1965 it was the oldest Castle remaining in service."
