GWR Castle class 4-6-0 No 4096 Highclere Castle Approaches West Drayton & Yiewsley with the 3.15pm Paddington to Exeter express in May 1928.
The buildings in the background, between the railway and the Slough arm of the Grand Union Canal was called "Wooden Row" and were built for the workers at the nearby Stockley brickfields. They were removed in the late 1930s as part of slum clearance.
