An Ex-works GWR Castle 4-6-0 No 5039 Rhuddlan Castle with down express (439) nearing Newton Abbot in 1959; it was released from Swindon Works on 18 October 1959 from a 'Heavy Intermediate' so this is probably soon after that. The muddy Teign Estuary does not look as pretty with the tide out.
