Peter Kerslake says "If it is 1966 and post May of that year then 70021 , formerly " Morning Star " would have then been allocated to Stockport Edgeley before moving to Carlisle Kingmoor in June of 1967 from where she was withdrawn in December of 1967 , so that might possibly provide a clue as to the location of this image .
The first of the class to reach Plymouth's Laira Motive Power Depot in August of 1951 , " Morning Star " went to Cardiff Canton in January 1957 before the wholesale move of all the Western Region's " Britannias " took them to the Midland Region , with " Morning Star " being shedded at Manchester's Trafford Park in July of 1958 .
