LMS 4F No 44406 departs from Leeds City (formerly Wellington) station with a local train for the Skipton lines in the mid 1950s. It is allocated to Saltley shed and has been 'borrowed'. 40114 is in the North Carriage sidings with another of the class arriving light engine in the station to take out another stopper. An Ivatt 2MT is the pilot up at Leeds City joint station.
