LMS 4F 0-6-0 No 4349 with cattle train probably imported beasts at Chester in around 1927. The loco looks pretty new. The first three cattle vans are of NER, GNR and LNWR origin and were of course 'pooled' and in the common user agreement. If that is the remains of Lime disinfectant on the first wagon then it is a very late use of the substance.
