The concourse of Southport Lord Street station on July 29, 1951. 4F No 44285 and an Ivatt 2-6-0 are at the buffer stops. I did wonder if this was the weekend of the annual Flower Show but that was a month later. The station closed on 7 January 1952, when the CLC was closed to passengers from Aintree Central northwards.
