Inside Swindon Works on 18th September 1960 with Warship diesel hydraulics under construction and a King in the distance almost ready to be outshopped. D826 was nearly complete that day awaiting paint.
A week earlier, Sunday 11th, the only King in 'A shop' was 6008 King James II. It was photographed (Transport Library) ex-Works on Old Oak Common on 2 October 1960.
