BR 'Derby Lightweight' diesel unit No. M79900. Built at Derby in July 1956, withdrawn in 1969 and transferred to departmental use as No. RDB975010, withdrawn in June 1999 and preserved.

There's an interesting selection of parcels, churns and pigeon baskets on the platform at Bletchley, but just a single unit diesel is all that is deemed necessary for the service to Buckingham on Saturday 5th September 1964. These services ended in 1966 with 6,600 passengers and receipts of £4000 in that year.
