Up express exiting Hadley Wood South Tunnel, this location was also known as Greenwood.

The woodland itself is Hadley Wood, but at this point, where the formation used to narrow from 4 to 2 tracks for the section through the tunnels and Hadley Wood station, the small Box controlling the merging of traffic was known as "Greenwood". For some years after it was demolished, the nameboard (or a replica) was displayed on the fence of one of the nearby gardens.
