Photographs of 4472 are not exactly scarce! However I rather like this fine atmospheric view of our grand old Centenarian at Manchester Central Station on Saturday 18th April 1964. Coded 1X21 she is about to be adorned with a SLS/MLS 'Great Central Rail Tour' headboard before leaving for London Marylebone via Woodhead and Sheffield.
