Passing through an immaculately tidy Dumfries Station is ex-Caledonian Rly. J.McIntosh '812' (LMS '3F') 57572 at the head of a mixed freight. 96 of these sturdy 0-6-0s were built between 1899 and 1909 of which one (BR 57566) has been preserved. Saturday 20th May 1961.
