LNER K3 2-6-0 No 61969 comes over the famous crossing at Newcastle Central with an up ECML freight. The line to the right leads to the High Level Bridge and Durham coast line. An unusual viewpoint as the photographer must have been high up so was he on a signal gantry or even the station roof?
