English Electric Type 1 No D8047 at Hatfield, the up yard behind loco, on 24 August 1960. It was used regularly on the Luton/Dunstable branch.
The chap standing in the doorway was the Hatfield Driver Percy Beasley and his Secondman Derek Whitehead .

Percy was the Driver of the last passenger train on the Hatfield/Luton/Dunstable branch line on the 24 April 1965. The loco used was EE Type 1 8046 with an 8 coach Quad- Art set.
