Awaiting scrapping at Swindon on 19th August 1959, is 0-6-0PT No 7438. The 74XX series were identical to the 64XX type, but were not push-pull fitted. Built in October 1948 by BR, and withdrawn in February 1959, this engine spent its entire short career allocated to Tyseley shed 84E.
