Ex-Great Western Railway Collett 'Manor' class 4-6-0 No. 7801 'Anthony Manor'. Built at Swindon in January 1938 and withdrawn in July 1965.

Charles Collett certainly liked his English Heritage! Along with all his 'Halls', 'Courts', 'Castles', 'Abbeys' and 'Granges' there were the thirty 'Manors' of which no less than nine survived to be preserved. 'Anthony Manor' was not amongst their number, but this fine October 1959 portrait at Oxley MPD in Wolverhampton perfectly illustrates their slender, attractive lines.
