Well turned out by the cleaners , and possibly assisted by their unofficial " helpers " at her home shed , 7819 " Hinton Manor " is seen here in her fully lined out green livery , the last " Manor " to receive new colours in February of 1960 .The renowned Mr . Rowlands , shedmaster at Aberystwyth , had his "Manors " treated to a white paint job at their front ends , as seen here , a custom carried out on those locomotives working principal passenger services on the former Cambrian lines right up to the end in March of 1967 .My 1956 shedbook shows that 7819 was allocated to 89A , Oswestry at that time when the aged " Dukedogs " , so long associated with the Cambrian system , were nearing the end of their days and were replaced by additional " Manors " including a number from Laira and Newton Abbot Depots , made redundant from their piloting duties over the South Devon banks .
