With the down Pembroke Coast Express The coaches in platform 3 are likely to be an excursion and are sitting over the trap point.

This is the " up " Pembroke Coast Express " , pictured at Tenby on the "leg" between Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock, headed by a grubby 7804 " Baydon Manor " , a longstanding Carmarthen engine.
This portion of the "Pembroke" was usually loaded to just four coaches in both directions between Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock, and it was only between Swansea and Paddington that in both directions the full eight coach composition was worked , invariably by Landore "Castles" on the two "legs" between Paddington and Swanse and Swansea and Carmarthen in both directions.
