Manor class 4-6-0 No 7814 Fringford Manor waits to leave Carmarthen with the up 'Pembroke Coast Express' on July 13, 1963.

Keith Morris comments "The clock says 2.40pm and 7814 has just arrived on platform 3 with the up Pembs -due 2.39pm, passengers are still making their way to the footbridge. The train reverses here and steam from the “Castle” to be added for the journey eastwards can be seen in the background behind the DMU with the open door, leaving promptly at 2.45pm. The train will reverse again at Swansea before making for London.
