Craig McIntosh says "I think this is the Chapelhall branch daily goods train. 57689 lasted well in to 1963 and was a regular on this job. It was a Motherwell loco". However the curve of the track is not correct for anywhere we could find on the branch. There is a large building in the distance behind the goods shed.
