Ex-Caledonian Railway Pickersgill '300' (LMS '3F') class 0-6-0 No. 57667. Built at St. Rollox in August 1918 as CR No. 311 and withdrawn in August 1962.

The area alongside the turntable Oban's small MPD is looking decidedly scruffy and unkempt with lots of fire lighting wood in this August 1961 photograph. Although 57667 is coaled, it is unclear if it's in steam. A periodically much-needed snowplough is seen alongside although the track to it is thick with weeds.
