58100 1950s Lickey
No.58100 in action in the early 1950s. It was always the first choice to assist passenger trains and was given the Target 1 code. The coaches are a real mixture of styles: a Stanier brake followed by a Gresley side corridor third, then two examples of early LMS built stock. Next is a very interesting ex-Great Eastern Railway BG (a Bogie Gangwayed parcels coach which became LNER diagram 548E) that had been converted from WW1 ward cars from No.75 Ambulance Train and which appears to be still in wartime brown from World War 2, and finally a Southern Railway designed PMV (Parcel and Miscellaneous Van) at the rear.
