Type 2 No.6326 with the Hemyock Milk at Tiverton Junction on 7 July 1971 is passed by maroon work stained Warship No.D809 'Champion' working the 1M49 14.15 Newton Abbot-Sutton Coldfield Motorail. The Type 2 is in the final version of blue applied to the Class 22s with rail alphabet serif numerals below the double arrows and would be withdrawn within three months. 'Champion' had received its maroon livery with full yellow ends in March 1968 and was also withdrawn on 3 October 1971.
