Sixteen of the Ivatt Ex-GNR N2 0-6-2Ts found their way north of the border in LNER days. The Scottish enginemen did not welcome these foreigners, but put up with them. They tended to number amongst the early withdrawals of the Class from the mid-1950s.
No 9500 (later 69500) at Eastfield in 1947.
