GWR 64XX 0-6-0PT No 6438 up (or Down) 'JB' local at Georges on 28 February 1959. This is the Cardiff to Pontypridd auto between leaving the main line at St Fagans and joining the ex Barry Railway main line at Tynycaeau Junction. St Georges is a crossing on the main line west of St Fagans.

Keith Morris adds that JB was the "target" for an Abercynnon shed diagram working Pontypridd to Cardiff Clarence Street and then on to Penarth and return.
