Coronation Pacific No 46229 Duchess of Hamilton with the up 'Caledonian at Shap probably the summer of 1958 when 46229 was still green with emblem on tender. Andrew Vines says "I'm pretty sure this location is Great Strickland, the twin hedges on the left marking the line of Priestclose Lane, which passes under the railway at this point. (Today a favourite location for photographers of up trains from the other side of the line.)"
