No 46234 Duchess of Abercorn climbs the northern ascent to Shap in Thrimby Woods c1959.

Peter Kerslake says "A clean exhaust, no steam leaks and a substantial load behind its tender. By the look of its smokebox door and front end "Duchess of Abercorn" appears to have been through Crewe Works recently."
