Princess Coronation Pacific No 46230 Duchess of Buccleuch climbs Beattock near Harthope recorded as the northbound 'Royal Scot' on probably in 1954. However given the short formation and mostly LMS stock, we think this is more likely to be the peak-time relief to the Royal Scot, which I think was also an 8P diagram.
