‘Coronation’ No. 46226 Duchess of Norfolk heads northwards from Wigan North Western in the early 1960s. It was one of sixteen engines in the class repainted in crimson lake during 1958 and originally had British Railways orange and black lining, but this was replaced with the more attractive LMS yellow and black style in June 1960.
