Direct Rail Services Class 68 68007 Valiant failed near Tame Bridge Parkway on the approach to Bescot when working the 4E49 11.37 Daventry DRS (Tesco) to Doncaster iPort Tesco service on Tuesday 22nd April 2025. The train was delayed by almost two hours and another Class 68, 68006 Pride of the North, was despatched from Crewe to rescue the train which it took over dragging 68007 with it before an eventual arrival 223 minutes at Doncaster.
