Seen in the 1930s, the beautiful spans of North Bridge, Halifax span the eponymous North Bridge Goods Yard as an LMS 'mechanical horse' is helping load (or unload) freight brought in by Sowerby Bridge's ex-L&YR Aspinall '11' (LMS '1P') No. 12237. It was built at Horwich in July 1894 as L&YR No. 1242 and was withdrawn in Mar. 1959 as BR No. 52237.
