A rushed shot…. Unexpected arrival of a Thornaby-stored A8 on a Whitsun Bank Holiday working from Middlesbrough to Seaton Carew.

The loco had been stored 'bagged up' at Thornaby and was returned to traffic especially for the upturn in traffic this weekend, the loco nor the class would never work again.
