BR Riddles 'Standard Clan' class 4-6-2 No. 72006 'ClanMackenzie'. Built at Crewe in February 1952 and withdrawn in May 1966.

On former G&SWR metals, a grubby 'Clan Mackenzie' stands in the yard outside Dumfries MPD in August 1964. Its '12A' shed code is painted on, as is a yellow cabside stripe but thankfully it retains its nameplates. It has a pair of 'Black 5s' for company. A shed visit during that same August, found nineteen steam and three diesel shunters in residence. The shed closed in May 1966.
