Kingmoor 'Clan' 72006 Clan McKenzie is heading home on the Down Fast on 10th April 1964 with a train of sheeted 16T minerals probably loaded with limestone for Ravenscraig steelworks at Motherwell. These trains were a regular Kingmoor turn and often produced a 'Clan' or a 'Britannia'. The train is just south of Barton & Broughton station where the Up and Down Slow lines, which ran from Greenbank sidings Preston, will merge with the Fast lines.
