Locally allocated 24C Lostock Hall WD 2-8-0 No 90341 with inspection saloon M 45014 M beside Preston signalbox on 11 July 1958. I do not recognise the origin of the saloon with its eliptical profile roof, it does not appear to be of LNWR, LYR or MR origin. The Victoria Hotel does not look very appealing, except perhaps to a railway enthusiast!
