852 1970-05-03 Old Oak

Carrying the final version of the blue livery with Rail Alphabet numbers without the ?D?-prefix and single double arrow symbol. It has a TOPS panel below the number and both a cast 81A shedplate on the front skirt and a stencilled version behind the cab door. The nose doors have the circular ventilation grills below the route indicator panels applied by Old Oak Common to its Class 43s in an attempt to try and improve the cab ventilation.
