Originally described as 1927-07-10 (or 12th)! With GCR number and livery on "the Sheffield Pullman", but that ceased in September 1925, so either the date is incorrect or it is not the Sheffield Pullman. Furthermore the loco was re-numbered 6165 by the LNER in late Jan 1925 so the year must be 1924.
These prestigous trains were short and used the latest motive power.
