2430 1948c believed to be Kingskettle

2430 1948c believed to be Kingskettle

NBR D30 4-4-0 No 2430 Jingling Geordie on an up slow probably from Thornton Junction passing in c1948, it did not receive its BR number until May 1950. Same location a LNER 2489, there is a small ground frame, could it be Kingskettle?

Alan Dunn says "This indeed looks like Kingskettle area - specifically about a mile south - near where the access for Forthar farm meets the A914.
On the OS 1892-1914 map there are sidings on the up side of the line here and a SP shown just south of them by the underbridge for the minor road across to Freuchie, which would match old maps.
The background also matches with the start of the rise towards East Lomond hill, the farm that can be seen just to the right of the front of the loco on the hillside is Pittillock farm - so this is a down slow service.
