103 1930s Rugeley Trent Valley

103 1930s Rugeley Trent Valley

There was a 42' turntable adjacent to the Walsall line at Rugeley which has helped us confirm this location. The WCML is at the higher level. Estimated date but LMS 2-6-2T 103 was built in 1935 and entered traffic at Stafford (5C) during 4 w/e 15 June, as were the previous two or three of the class. I imagine their duties would have included main line stopping trains and possibly local services on the Shrewsbury line.
