S11 4-4-0 No E311 passes the shed as it approaches Plymouth Friary with a train from Exeter in c1930.
Peter Kerslake adds "Part of the Southern's Friary shedis shown on the right. This working has come down from Lipson Junction after running from Exeter via the main line skirting North Dartmoor and serving Okehampton, Bere Alston and Tavistock before reaching Plymouth."
