A strange choice of locos for a train of heavy track panels but they had to keep time, or as the date is a Saturday is it two trains combined?

Brian Gregory explains "E1 31019 was on its way to Ashford Works for scrapping. Withdrawn 30th April 1961 and cut up 31st June 1961. 30921 'Shrewsbury' lasted until withdrawn on 31st December 1962 along with all the other remaining Schools Class. Finally cut up by Cohens at Kettering 31st May 1964"
