Class Y11. NBR Petrol Engine No 1 built 2/21 by Motor Rail Ltd of Bedford. Initially shedded at Kelso where it replaced three shunting horses (1921), it moved to Ware (Herts) from 6/28. (Kelso gained a Y1 Sentinel in its place.) Numbers carried: 8431 (’30), 8189 (’46), 68189 (’48), 15099 (’49). Withdrawn 21/11/56.
