A long term resident of St Rollox (Balornock) shed, No 16252 adds to Glasgow’s environmental pollution in 1947.
Built as CR No 485 in Febuary 1899 this engine would be withdrawn from its final shed Ayr, exactly 60 years later, in February 1959, as BR No 56252.
