This Jinty spent a lot of its working life around 1955-1960's as the shunter at Avenue sidings working on coal wagons brought down the branch line from Grassmoor and beyond. it was an 18C Hasland based engine. Derrick Willmot spent many happy hours looking on from the adjacent farm at the shunting activity.
