1011 1959-07-04 Bodmin Road

County class 4-6-0 No 1011 County of Chester leaves Bodmin Road with the 7.50am Penzance to Birmingham express on July 4, 1959.
Peter Kerslake says "Doing just the job it was built for 1011 heads through the Glyn Valley, next stop Liskeard.
It was allocated to Bristol Bath Road and locomotives from there were frequently rostered to run down to Penzance and back home again the next day. 1011 was the last 'County' in service when condemned in 1964.
Wild flowers grow in profusion on the banks in this area, enhancing the scenery even more, especially in the springtime"
