At the north end of Wolverhampton (Low Level) station in the 1950s, No 1026 ‘County of Salop’ awaits departure with a passenger train. The shedcode is 84G, Shrewsbury, from where this engine was withdrawn in September 1962 - one of the first three to be condemned.
