East Fife Area NCB No 18 fitted with a Giesl ejector hauls a train of NCB wagons in the yard at Methil on 6th January 1970. (HE 3809/1954). The locomotive was sold in June 1972 to scrap merchant Thomas Muir of Thornton. It remained intact in his yard in 1974 awaiting a buyer.
