The whole of the 113 spans of the wooden Barmouth Bridge fade away in the distance in this view , with the newer steel section and its opening swing portion nearest the camera and above the deep water channel at this point of the Mawddach estuary.br/ Built originally from Baltic timber in 1867 the main section of the bridge was rebuilt in the early 1900 's , with the steel section originating from 1900 .br/ The little lifeboat slipway shows up well below the little bridge above it
