It is 11.20 by the station clock so if anyone has a winter 1964/5 time table I would love to know the working.


Simon Barber responds " I do have a winter 1964-5 LMR timetable. It appears there are no crew in the cab so the train is most likely an arrival which is stabled in the platform awaiting a later working. There was an 11.6 arrival, all stations from Lancaster (d. 9.46) so if the train is facing the right way that seems likely. There is no subsequent train originating at Barrow in either direction until 3.28 (the next train to Lancaster, originating at Barrow, is 4.30) so this stock does not seem to be kept busy".
