Occupying a secluded spot at Doncaster shed in 1959, Class O2/4 No 63983. Close inspection shows that the smokebox has been extended backwards (double line of rivets). This is because the 100A boiler fitted to the O2/4s by Thompson in 1943 was slightly shorter than the original. Rebuilt 1943; w/d July 1963.
